Introduction to the Proposals
1. A proposed bill on immigration reform that will call for the security of all American borders and coastlines. All illegal immigrants in every corner of America must gain documentation. This will be an opportunity for legitimacy and accountability as qualified immigrants will be able to gain a work visa.
2. After all borders are secured there will be a one-year grace period. During this grace period all illegal immigrants must be documented and will be allowed to purchase work visas. These work visas will enable immigrants to keep their jobs while beginning payments toward social security and taxes. Illegal immigrants will no longer be able to receive free health care or food stamps. Illegal immigrants with mental or physical challenges or who have been injured on the job may continue to receive help once properly documented. Work visas will help make illegal immigrant criminals accountable for laws broken. All immigrants must take an oath to abide by our laws and face justice by our laws regardless if they are only seeking work visas rather than full citizenship.
3. Revenues made from work visas will be used to help save social security and will bail out taxpayers, starting with the low income senior citizens and disabled war veterans. It will also allow the federal government to have more of an accurate census of illegal immigrants in our nation.
4. The federal government will refund to each state half of the revenues made from illegal immigrants documented within that state’s borders. The more illegal immigrants a state has the more money will be refunded to that state. The work visas will cost $20,000 per family and payments can be paid in cash, credit or monthly payments.
5. English and speech classes will be given as part of the work visas, which will make immigrants bilingual in return better oportunites in the work force.

7. The federal government will use the funds to rebuild the social security fund and provide better health care for disabled war veterans.
8. After the one-year grace period is over (unless the Federal Government decides to extend it), the U.S. Immigration Department will work with state and local law enforcement agencies in verifying the documentation of immigrants according to federal and state laws. Verifications of work Visas will be inscribed on state drivers’ licenses in order to prevent racial profiling.
9. All state and local law enforcement agencies will work with the Department of Immigration to search for illegal immigrants on job sites within their jurisdiction.
10. All CEOs of corporations and business owners and persons involved in the employment of illegal immigrants will be arrested (or otherwise held accountable). If convicted they will serve 1 to 5 years in prison and pay fines per illegal immigrant. All illegal immigrants found will be deported. There will be no racial profiling or home invasions allowed.
11. After five years, providing qualified immigrants have no criminal records (especially felonies), the state in which they abide in will sponsor the immigrants for a green card of residency. State employment agencies will work to help immigrants with a work visa find a job if necessary.
12. After fulfilling the time required with a green card of residency they can apply for full citizenship.
REVENUES MADE BY THE PROPOSALS ONCE MADE INTO A BILL IN CONGRESS AND PASSED WILL BE USED FOR:
- BETTER HEALTH CARE FOR THE LOW INCOME ELDERLY, AND DISABLED WAR VETERANS.
PROVIDE MORE FUNDING TO IMPROVE THE LIVING CONDITIONS IN NURSING HOMES AND MORE STAFF MEMBERS WHO ARE BETTER TRAINED.
THE STATES MUST PROVIDE MORE FIELD AGENTS TO MONITOR ALL NURSING HOMES TO MAKE THAT ARE PROVIDING THE PROPER CARE FOR THE ELDERLY.
THE STATE AGENTS MUST ALSO MAKE SURE THAT NURSING HOMES ARE NOT UNDER STAFFED AND EMPLOYEES ARE NOT UNDER PAID.

FUNDING FOR RESEARCH FOR DISEASES SUCH AS CANCER AND ALZHEIMER’S
